Abstract

Anemia remains a public health problem affecting productivity and quality of life among adolescents and women of reproductive age. This study aims to develop MoriBar as an innovative snack bar based on Moringa oleifera and to analyze its business feasibility using a managerial approach. The research applied a research and development design with a descriptive qualitative approach combined with simple quantitative financial analysis. The study was conducted at Universitas Bina Insani, Bekasi, from May to September 2025. Organoleptic testing involved thirty respondents using a five-point hedonic scale to evaluate taste, texture, aroma, packaging, and practicality. Business analysis employed the Business Model Canvas and SWOT framework, along with calculations of unit production cost, contribution margin, and break-even point. The results indicate an average acceptance rate of 86%, a unit production cost of IDR 11,096, a contribution margin of IDR 8,904, and a net profit margin of 36% based on sales of 54 units. The break-even point was achieved at four units. MoriBar demonstrates potential as an economically feasible functional snack based on local ingredients and may support anemia prevention efforts through its iron content.
