Journal History

PENA TEKNIK: Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu-Ilmu Teknik (Scientific Journal of Engineering Sciences), published by the Faculty of Engineering at Andi Djemma University (Unanda) Palopo, has been open access since it was first published in March 2016.

The journal is published twice a year, in March and September, featuring various research papers and contemporary essays in the field of engineering sciences.

Starting from Volume 4 Number 2 (2019 edition), PENA TEKNIK has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.
Beginning with Volume 8 Number 2 (September 2023 edition), the focus and scope of PENA TEKNIK were refined to emphasize research specifically in the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning. Starting from the 2024 edition, PENA TEKNIK has successfully undergone re-accreditation and has been upgraded to SINTA 3, reflecting the journal’s continuous commitment to improving publication quality, editorial professionalism, and scientific standards.
