Inovasi Pengelolaan Benda Sejarah Berbasis Digital: Aplikasi RAK di Kampung Reenactor Ngalam
Main Article Content
Abstract
The preservation of cultural heritage in Kampung Reenactor Ngalam faces challenges in the form of poor documentation and limited access to information on historical artifacts. The community’s lack of digital skills further complicates the tracking, recording, and borrowing processes of the collections. To address this issue, a community service program was carried out through the development and implementation of the Reenactor Artefact Keeper (RAK) application as a digital solution for managing historical items. This program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, actively involving the community from planning to evaluation stages. RAK was developed in both web and mobile platforms to facilitate real-time and structured recording, tracking, and management of collections. The application implementation successfully improved efficiency, accuracy, and organization in the management of historical collections within the community.
System evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). SUS results showed a score of 82.5 (categorized as excellent usability), while TAM scores indicated high acceptance: Perceived Usefulness (4.3), Ease of Use (4.4), Attitude (4.25), and Intention (4.45). These results reflect strong user satisfaction and intention for continued use. The success of this initiative demonstrates that RAK can enhance the community’s digital literacy and support sustainable technology-based historical preservation.
