Design and Construction of a Website-Based Information System for State Senior High School 5 Palopo Using the Laravel Framework
Abstract
Information System Applications are essential tools to support information management and administration, given the rapid development of technology (gadgets) today. Therefore, research and development of Information System applications was conducted at SMAN 5 PALOPO. The method used in this research is a method that produces new products from the research itself, namely R&D (research and development) using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) model. The results of this study indicate that: (1) This application was built using Visual Studio, the Laravel Framework, designed using UML, and tested with Backbox and Usability. (2) By creating this information system, SMAN 5 PALOPO can more easily manage its administration and information, making it more centralized. (3) Data obtained from the research questionnaire obtained a feasibility percentage of 93%, indicating that this application is suitable for use and has stable performance.
