Web-Based Asset Recording Information System at Hadji Kalla Toyota
Abstract
This research focuses on the design and development of a web-based asset recording information system at Hadji Kalla Toyota, which currently relies on manual asset recording. This manual approach presents challenges such as inaccuracy and inefficiency in data recording and retrieval, which can hinder decision-making and operational efficiency. The primary objective of this research is to create a more effective, accurate, and accessible system for managing the company's assets. This research employed qualitative methods, using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies to collect the necessary data. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes system analysis, design using UML, implementation using PHP and MySQL, and testing using black-box methods. The resulting application successfully improved asset data management by accelerating, increasing accuracy, and facilitating access. It also includes features for recording, reporting, and updating assets. This system is expected to optimize the asset management process at Hadji Kalla Toyota, contributing to better decision-making and operational efficiency.
