Abstract

The Wisma Mulia Guest House in Palopo City still uses a manual room reservation system, which often presents challenges such as limited room information availability, time inefficiencies, and difficulties in data management and reporting. This research aims to develop and implement a website-based guest house information system capable of presenting information on room availability, facilities, prices, and the reservation process in a straightforward manner. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, with the system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML). System testing was conducted using black-box testing methods to ensure all functions function as required. The results of the study indicate that the developed information system facilitates guests in obtaining information and making room reservations online, while also assisting management in maintaining reservation data and preparing reports more effectively and accurately. Therefore, this system is expected to improve the service quality and operational efficiency of the Wisma Mulia Guest House in Palopo City.
