Website-Based Subject Schedule and Attendance Information System at State Elementary School 38 Bora
Abstract
Advances in information technology provide opportunities for educational institutions to improve the effectiveness of school administration. However, the management of subject schedules and student attendance at Bora 38 Public Elementary School is still done manually using paper, resulting in various obstacles such as recording errors, the risk of data loss, and delays in information retrieval and processing. This research aims to design and build a website-based subject schedule and attendance information system that can assist the school in managing academic data more effectively and integratedly. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The system was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling and built using PHP, Tailwind CSS, and the Laragon development environment. The results of the system feasibility test through questionnaire distribution showed a percentage of 88%, which falls into the "Very Feasible" category. Thus, the developed system is able to improve the efficiency of student schedule and attendance management and support more effective and computerized school administration.
